”Last Saturday we went to a friends birthday party. And they had a face painter. It was Ms. Vicki. First, she had a great system so kids wouldn’t have to wait in line. Because four years old let’s face it can’t wait lol. Our four-year-old daughter asked to get her face done. She’s asked before but never gone through with letting someone touch her face. See my daughter has spd (sensory processing disorder) and possibly autistic. She gets very anxious and does not like people touching her. But we let her try anytime she asks. "Saturday was a fun filled day at the Maple Lawn Festival! We enjoyed great food, great friends and even more exciting, a fantastic face painter! My daughter had the opportunity to sit in Ms. Vicki's chair to get a beautiful design, but it was not just the awesome painting that made the experience so great, it was the painter herself. My daughter was recently bitten by a dog on her face so I was not comfortable with her getting painted on her face, but that was not an issue for Vicki, she made my daughter feel comfortable about the fresh wounds on her face and began painting away on her arm. The line was quite long, much longer than the other painters that were at the festival, but the wait was more than worth it, the attention to detail and the kindness that my daughter received while in her chair. The set up that she has is amazing and so professional. I was surprised as I have never before seen such a professional setup for this industry, it was rather refreshing!
