Here are our simple and friendly safety rules to keep everyone safe and having fun:
1. Give Me Some Space: Please allow plenty of room for painting. Crowding makes it tricky for everyone to enjoy the experience. 2. Hands Off the Equipment: For safety and hygiene, please don’t touch the supplies, and kindly keep children away from them as well. 3. Consent is Key: I will never paint anyone who doesn’t want to be painted, including sleeping or upset children. Everyone’s comfort matters! 4. Age and Ability Matters: I can’t paint infants or children who can’t sit independently in the artist chair. 5. Clean Faces, Happy Faces: Please make sure faces are clean before sitting down for painting. A quick wipe of the nose and mouth helps ensure the best results! 6. Health & Safety First: For everyone’s health, I can’t paint anyone with open wounds, cold sores, contagious conditions, or if they’re feeling unwell. 7. Easy Cleanup: Face paint comes off easily with soap and water or makeup remover. Instructions are available on-site for quick removal. 8. A Little Color May Stay: Some colors, like reds and greens, may last a bit longer on the skin, but don’t worry—they come off with a little extra care. Ask the artist for easy removal tips. Thanks for following these rules and helping us keep things safe and fun for everyone! Never been face painted before? Ask for a Swatch Test. I use only cosmetic-grade products that are safe for the skin, but while reactions are rare, they can happen. If you have concerns, feel free to ask for a swatch test. I’ll paint a small design on the underside of the wrist at no charge. Just wait 30 minutes, and if there’s no reaction, you’re good to go! Then you can return to the line with peace of mind. |
